Danny Boyle recently met Billie Jean King with an intention to make a biopic on the tennis legend.
The director of 'Slumdog Millionaire' landed in the New York City along with the Academy Award winning film's writer Simon Beaufoy and producer Christian Colson to kick start their project on Billie Jean King, as reported by the New York Post.
According to the sources, the biopic will take King's famous 'Battle of the Sexes' against Bobby Riggs in 1973 into spotlight.
Boyle was also seen at a London premiere of a King documentary right before Wimbledon last year.
The source further reported that Danny Boyle and Simon Beaufoy will be meeting each other in New York to work on the script.
