'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle visits India once a year to meet his young actors Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail.
The English film director has built a 'Jai Ho Trust' for the two that ensures Ali and Ismail are given education and housing facilities, and are given financial security as well, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
Boyle admitted that he was inspired from 'Harry Potter' series as a shining example of how movie stardom doesn't need to ruin children's lives.
Speaking on the same, the 57-year-old director further added that he is proud of Ali and Ismail because the two are making the best of their education.
Boyle and Christian Colson, the producer of 'Slumdog Millionaire' sends Ali and Ismail to Aseema Schools, which are run by women who take over abandoned state schools and offer a wonderful education to them.
