Security personnel martyred by a landmine blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada District on Monday, were given a tearful ceremonial send-off, including a guard of honour.
On Monday, four police personnel were killed and eleven others were injured after Naxals triggered a landmine blast in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, in the fourth rebel attack in three days in the strife-torn Bastar zone.
The 11-member Chhattisgarh Armed Forces security team was heading towards Kirandul in an anti-landmine vehicle when the incident occurred.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju had condemned the incident and said that the government needed to come up with a counter strategy to prevent such attacks.
