Almost 400 websites including Silk Road 2.0 have been shut down in Britain as they were believed to be selling illegal drugs and weapons.

According to Sky News, Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested six people including those suspected to be a part of the online drug market place Silk Road 2.0.

The dark web consists of content and websites that can only be accessed using special software and is not indexed by standard search engines.

The NCA's deputy director Rou McComb said that more arrests were expected.

McComb also warned that the dark web comes under organized crime network.
