UK Prime Minister David Cameron's hoax caller, who acted as GCHQ spy chief Robert Hannigan, was actually high on cocaine and cannabis whilst speaking to the top politician.

The alleged hoaxer said that he has just made complete monkeys out of GCHQ and he has got the mobile number of the director adding that he was high on booze and cocaine, the Mirror reported.

The Prime Minister chatted to the prank caller but he ended the call as soon as it became clear it was a crank.

It was reported that the hoaxer was a man in his 20s.
