DCW chief Swati Maliwal leaves it to Delhi Police to investigate 'eve teasing' accusation

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal on Tuesday said Delhi Police will complete the investigation to settle the accusations on Delhi's Tilak Nagar eve-teasing incident.

"Delhi Police will investigate. If the girl has alleged wrongly, she will be held accountable; if the boy is guilty, he would be charged," said Maliwal

"Details that we are asking police are also in the same direction, " she added.

In a of case of sexual harassment a girl, Jasleen Kaur, has alleged that a boy heckled her and also passed lewd comments on her on Sunday. The police had lodged a complaint against the accused after the victim post she shared his snap and details about eve-teasing on a Facebook post.
