The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a notice to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kirti Azad, seeking a reply from them in the civil defamation suit filed by the Delhi and District Cricket Board (DDCA) against them.

Earlier, The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday filed a 2000-page documentary evidence in the Delhi High Court in reply to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's civil defamation case against Arvind Kejriwal and five other party leaders.

On December 21, 2014, Jaitley had filed a criminal defamation complaint against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders for allegedly defaming him in the Delhi and District Cricket Board (DDCA) controversy before a Delhi court which took cognizance on his plea.
