Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has admitted that he is enjoying football, insisting that he wants to make his comeback at Old Trafford after playing his first competitive game of the season for Spain.
Reserve-goalkeeper Sergio Romero was taken in place of De Gea for United's first four Premier League matches due to a transfer saga with Real Madrid.
De Gea, who wants to reclaim his first-team spot at Old Trafford, added that he needs to keep working and look for 'good fortune' in United itself, Sport24reported.
De Gea's much-anticipated move to Real failed to materialize before the transfer deadline due to miscommunication between the Spanish club and United. As a result, the goalkeeper will have to stay at Old Trafford until January at least.
The 24-year-old played his first competitive game of the season during his side's 1-0 win over Macedonia in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Tuesday.
While, fifth-placed United will now lock horns with Liverpool in their Premier League tie on Saturday.
