Swashbuckling batsman AB de Villiers has been nominated for the second year in a row for the coveted South African Cricketer of the Year award.
Cricket South Africa's (CSA) annual award evening will take place on June 3 at Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Commenting on the judging process, convener of the judging panel, Aslam Khota said that it took a long time for the panel to finalise the nominees as they were blessed with excellent and consistent performances, both on national and international front, Sport24 reported.
The South Africa captain batsman will compete against Hashim Amla, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Faf Du Plessis for the evening's top honour.
In addition to this, De Villiers has been nominated for the ODI Cricketer of the Year.
