The body of a 42-year-old man found at Congress leader Kumari Selja's house this morning has been identified as the husband of a helper working there.

Police said the death is seemingly unnatural, but no further details are available.

Joint Commissioner of Police Mukesh Kumar Meena said, "The man's name is Sanjay and his age is around 42. The enquiry is going on and all the facts are being verified. One thing is for sure that it was not a natural death, but an unnatural one. An injury has been found on his head."

"His wife is working at Kumari Selja's residence and he was working at some government office. Both were living here in the quarters provided. We are looking at all the angles possible. Rest of the details will be given after completion of the investigation", he added.

The brother-in-law of the deceased, Rampal, said, "It was not an accident. It is a murder. He returned from his relatives place at 9.30 p.m. at night."

"Police has taken a person named Anil into custody. He lives in the neighbourhood and I have a doubt about him", he added.

Additional Commissioner of Police S B S Tyagi has also arrived at the residence to be a part of the probe.
