Stand-in South Africa skipper Dean Elgar heaped praises on the fast bowling unit for securing the Proteas a 3-0 whitewash against Pakistan on Monday.
"We know they are a good team. We are very fortunate to have that arsenal of four fast bowlers," ICC quoted Elgar, as saying.
Following their victory, South Africa have overtaken New Zealand and England to attain the second position in the updated ICC Test team rankings.
Reflecting on his team's feat, Elgar said that his team will be looking to continue the winning streak when they will meet Sri Lanka next month.
"Three-nil is what we asked from the guys, and we have achieved that. We are halfway to our goals for the season. We want to achieve the same feat against Sri Lanka," Elgar said.
Meanwhile, Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur is keen to find solutions to his team's vulnerable batting at the earliest.
"We will play Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates in September, then we will play Australia in Australia straight after that. We have to have our skill-sets perfect to manage the bouncing ball. I want to get our batsmen into Australia three or four weeks early, to have camped there to get them ready," Arthur said.
