Marcus Rashford made a sensational debut as he scored twice to help Manchester United thrash Midtjylland 5-1 to progress through to the last-16 of the Europa League at Old Trafford.
Midfielder Pione Sisto smashed a goal in the 27th minute to put Midtjylland ahead before defender Nikolay Bodurov netted a goal in his own net to provide Louis Van Gaal's side with an equalizer just five minutes later, the Guardian reported.
Debutant Rashford then scored two consecutive goals for United in the 64th and 75th minute to make it 3-1 against the visitors.
Midfielder Aguero Ander Herrera provided his side with the fourth goal by scoring a penalty in the 88th minute before Memphis Depay rifled the ball into the bottom corner to give them a perfect finish in the second leg of the last-32 tie.
United, which were beaten 2-1 in the first leg, completed a 6-3 aggregate victory against Midtjylland.
