Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Jay Panda on Friday welcomed the declassification of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's files and said that he looked forward to hearing facts about Netaji.
"I have openly supported this and publicly said that the files concerning Netaji must be declassified. So, I welcome this move. I look forward to finding out the details along with so many other Indians," Panda told ANI.
"For many years, millions of Indians wanted to know the truth about Netaji, and I think, the country deserves to know the truth, whatever it may be," he added.
The West Bengal government went ahead on Friday to declassify around 64 files on freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
