Defacement Case: AAP MLA Surendra Singh sent to judicial custody till Aug 17

The Patiala House Court on Saturday ordered to take Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA 'Commando' Surendra Singh into judicial custody till August 17 in an alleged case of defacing of public property in 2014.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ashu Garg ordered Commando's custody when he appeared before the court. He had not been appeared in the case on several occasions earlier.

The case relates to defacement of public property in Naraina area in south west Delhi, allegedly by putting up posters and hoardings.
