Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's lawyer Anoop George Chaudhari on Friday said that he will no longer be able to appear for him in the defamation case, filed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

In December 2015, Jaitley filed a defamation case against Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Deepak Bajpayee.

Jaitley claimed that Kejriwal and others made 'false and defamatory' statements in the case involving the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and harmed his reputation. The Finance Minister has sought Rs 10 crore in damages.
