A large number of Kannada writers, advocates, artists, professors and academicians paid rich tributes to late K.R. Nagaraja on his 70th birth anniversary celebration here on Monday.
Nagaraja, Additional Advocate General of Karnataka Government in Delhi, was former chairman of Delhi Karnataka Sangha.
The editor of Dehali Kannadiga, M.B. Samaga, who inaugurated the celebrations here, said Nagaraja started a new era in Kannada activities in Delhi and organized different programmes to revive the glory of Kannada culture in Delhi.
"He completed Kannada cultural complex plan in his chairmanship of Delhi Karnataka Sangha and received "Best Outside Kannadiga" award in 2006 in 23rd National Sammelana held in Delhi," Samaga added.
