Former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro
has revealed that he will be undergoing surgery for the third time on his injured left wrist.
Del Potro, who was the 2009 US Open champion, has been struggling with problems related to his wrist for the last three years, and has also dropped down to 578 in world rankings.
The Argentine consulted his doctor Richard Berger and decided to undergo surgery after trying all other options to rid him of the problem.
In a video on Youtube, he said that he had the support of his doctor, who let him make other consultations, and when he found all roads leading him to the same place and objective, he decided to go in for surgery, Sport24 reports.
