Delhi: Fake visa racket busted, 2 held

The Delhi Police on Tuesday busted a syndicate supplying fake UAE visas and arrested two agents.

The arrested persons have been identified as Javed Ali and Manoj Kumar Sharma. The accused were involved in 17 cases.

"During the course of investigation all pax/passengers were interrogated and they all disclosed that alleged 17 Visa were provided to them by one agent Javed for a consideration amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- from each of the 17 pax/passengers," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), IGI Airport, Sanjay Bhatia.

"Bank account details were obtained and eventually accused Manoj Kumar Sharma has also been arrested," Bhatia added.

Efforts are underway to nab co-accused Prince Yadav. "Investigation revealed accused Prince was the one who prepared/printed the fake Visa in these cases," the senior police official said.
