A massive inferno out at a shoe factory in Mangolpuri area here last night in which stock which included shoes and machinery worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed.
However, the fire is under control now as around 17 fire tenders were at the spot to douse the flames.
"We received a call around 2:46 AM. We had deployed around 16-17 fire tenders at the spot," said fire officer S.S.Tuli
"The material was stuffed in the shop and stairs that is why it took so long to extinguish the fire," he added.
No casualties have been reported yet.
