The Delhi Government had given a deadline of 11 a.m. to all the resident doctors on strike in the national capital to resume work with immediate effect.
"We accepted the resident doctors' 19 demands, but they want the Central Government and the MCD to accept them now. However, we have asked them to get back to work by 11 a.m. today. All the relevant information been put on social media sites," said Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain.
On Monday, the resident doctors began an indefinite strike here demanding more rooms, cleaner environment, and better salaries and working hours.
The doctors' association had given June 21 as the deadline to respond to their demands.
