ANI New Delhi

The Government of Delhi has written to the Director General of the Home Guards and instructed him to prepare a road map for deploying home guards in DTC buses as marshals to ensure passenger security.

The letter was sent after the AAP Government held its first Cabinet meeting today.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly instructed all government departments to give presentations to him this week on how they would implement the AAP's action plan.

Kejriwal has committed that he will implement the promises made to the people of Delhi.

The first session of the new Delhi Assembly is scheduled for February 23-24.

This is Kejriwal's second stint as the Chief Minister. He had resigned in February last year after running a 49-day-old government with the support of the Congress.
