The Government of Delhi on Tuesday has asked striking doctors to resume work as their demands have been accepted.
The city government had issued a 11 a.m. ultimatum to all striking resident doctors to resume their work.
Delhi's Health Minister Satyender Jain told media here today that all demands of the resident doctors working in Delhi Government-managed hospitals had been accepted and they should resume work with immediate effect.
Around 2,000 doctors from Central, Delhi Government and MCD Hospitals announced an indefinite strike in the capital yesterday.
They are demanding better security at workplace, adequate drugs, time-bound duty hours and salary on time.
