Delhi Govt. committed to providing best health facilities: Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said he has directed the city's Health Department to implement the demands of the doctors of the national capital who have gone on strike, adding that his government is committed to providing the best health facilities to the people.

Kejriwal shared the information on twitter.

"Most demands of striking docs genuine. I hv directed health dept to implement them. Health dept shud hv resolved it earlier," he wrote.

"This govt is committed to providing best health facilities to masses. It cannot be done without cooperation of docs," he added.

Earlier in the day, resident doctors in the city began an indefinite strike here on Monday demanding more rooms, cleaner environment, better salaries and working hours.
