The Delhi High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking to restrain candidates defeated in Lok Sabha elections from contesting Rajya Sabha polls till April 10.
Replying to the PIL pertaining to stop the Lok Sabha poll losers from getting into upper house, the High Court questioned the maintainability of it while observing that courts do not make or amend the law.
Meanwhile the Centre stated before the court that there are so many orders of the Supreme Court in such regards.
