Delhi people to get relief in two months: Manoj Tiwari

After the Delhi Budget was announced earlier on Friday, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Manoj Tiwari said that people will be relieved in two months.

Manoj Tiwari told ANI, "We have roped in some real important issues of providing homes and water facilities to the poor, in Delhi Budget presented today. New sewage lines are also planned to be laid. Moreover, better sanitation will be provided to those living in slums."

"People have been waiting for these changes from last fifteen years. As the Budget has been declared and we are aware of the problems being faced by the public, they will be relieved in another two months of time."

 

"When a good budget comes, people call it politicized. This budget is reflection of BJP character."

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today presented Delhi Budget 2014-15 in the parliament where he announced Rs 260 crore for power subsidy providing Rs 0.80 to Rs 1.20 per unit to small power consumers whose monthly consumption does not exceed 400 units.

A subsidy of Rs. 1.20 per unit has been provided for electricity consumption between 0 to 200 units and subsidy of Rs. 0.80 per unit has been provided for consumption between 200 to 400 units.
