Delhi Police file chargesheet against 17 Al-Qaeda operatives

The Delhi Police on Friday filed chargesheet against 17 suspected Al-Qaeda operatives, out of which 12 are absconding.

The members include Maulana Anzar Shah who has been accused of motivating people to join the banned terror outfit in India. The next date of hearing is July 14.

The AQIS was created by al-Qaeda's top leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in 2014.
