The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday announced that it will eschew a manifesto for the forthcoming Delhi polls and will instead come up with a 'vision document'.
"BJP will not release a manifesto for Delhi polls but will come up a vision document," said senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar.
The party's chief ministerial candidate, Kiran Bedi, however, has shared a blueprint for Delhi's development on her social media account, beginning with a 25 point action plan for women's safety.
The BJP, which is going all out for the upcoming Delhi polls, also announced that it would ask its competitor and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal five questions everyday till a day before polling begins.
"We will ask Kejriwal five questions everyday till February 6th," the party's Delhi unit chief Satish Upadhyay said.
The idea, however, drew a quick reaction from the AAP, which once again reiterated their demand for a public debate between the party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Bedi.
"They (BJP) should come out in public for a debate, instead of asking five questions behind the curtain," said AAP leader Dilip Pandey.
Delhi goes to polls on February 7, with counting of votes set to take place on February 10.
