Delhi schools to remain close during odd even scheme trial

According to the Directorate of Education, all government schools and un-aided recognized private schools have been asked to declare holidays during the trial period

The Delhi government has ordered the closing of schools in the national capital for 15 days from the 1st of January, 2016 in view of the implementation of the odd and even scheme for private cars.

The scheme is being implemented in the national capital on trial basis from the 1st to the 15th of January.

According to the Directorate of Education, all government schools and un-aided recognized private schools have been asked to declare holidays during the trial period.

Besides, the city government has also decided to obtain the services of school buses for the requirement of the Delhi Transport Corporation at notified rates to augment the public transport facility.
