Delhi to host Indian Sports and Fitness Carnival on August 30

National capital New Delhi will host an Indian Sports and Fitness Carnival (ISAFC) next Sunday at the Thyagaraja Stadium.

ISAFC is an attempt to bring all fitness enthusiasts on one stage from across the globe to create awareness about the importance of a healthy and wealthy life.

A press release from ISAFC said that it is providing a platform to sports persons from different sports and fitness fraternity and the common people who aspire to make their career in sports field.

ISAFC is supported by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI ), the Delhi Olympic Association, the Physical Education Foundation of India( P.E.F.I) and the Delhi Amateur Body Building and Fitness Association (DABBFA).

 

The one day event will include an arm wrestling championship under the guidance of the Delhi Arm Wrestling Association; gym participation; a sports, health and fitness workshop and a seminar with the theme: "Job & Business Opportunities through Sports, Health and Fitness".

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Rajpal Singh, Director and Head- FICCI, Sahil Khan, Bollywood personality and fitness freak and Sunita Godara, a former Asian marathon champion will be among the participants.

The event will also have a Zumba session, an amateurs physique and fitness competition and a Delhi Classic Body Building Competition.

It will conclude with a prize distribution and felicitation ceremony.
