Political humor late night talk show hosts are taking more aim at Democrats than Republicans this year, a new survey has found.
President Barack Obama and Anthony Weiner topped the list of political joke targets, the analysis released by George Mason University's Center for Media and Public Affairs found.
According to the New York Daily News, the 2013 trend marks a reversal from 2012, when Republican Mitt Romney was the biggest butt of political jokes.
The study found that Jimmy Fallon, host of 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon', poked the most number of jokes on Democrats. He targeted them 240 times in the first half of 2013.
Obama was the target of 288 monologue jokes made by Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel.

The next most joked-about individual was New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, at 120.
His numbers are likely to jump fast following steady reports on his sexting scandal.
The study said that Democrats were the target of 713 jokes between January and June 2013, compared with 417 gags about Republicans.
The only Republicans among the top 10 joke targets were former President George W. Bush and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
