The second day of thick fog of the winter season in the Indian capital on Tuesday, affected the operations of more than 90 flights, including domestic and international.
Reportedly, flight operations had to be suspended at the airport since 5 a.m. this morning, as visibility dropped to less than 50 metres.
Even passengers waiting at the airport seemed unaware of the delay in schedule.
"My wife and son had to go by the JetKonnect flight at 9:50 a.m., but the board shows the estimated time at 10:30 a.m. They have gone inside, but I have no idea when they will board the flight.
"They are saying the flight delay is due to the dense fog," said a passenger, Saransh Kumar.
According to the airport authorities, at least 74 domestic and 25 international flights were delayed this morning.

Another passenger at the Delhi airport, Sukwinder Singh, said: "We do not know about the flight timing yet as we have just reached the airport. We are coming from Himachal Pradesh (India's northern state). Due to the intense fog on the roads there were chances of road accident while coming here. The fog is very bad."
On Monday, schedules of around 140 flights were badly affected after the capital witnessed the winter's first fog. Nine flights were diverted while eight were cancelled.
The fog has also disrupted the railways services, with many trains running behind their scheduled time.
The thick fog has also enveloped other northern cities of India.
