Tanmmay Sachdeva, a politician-turned-designer, who is all set to showcase his designs on the finale day of India Runway Week 2013, held a preview for his garments, where he also launched his e-commerce website which is a unique one stop shop for customized couture wear in India.
The show was hosted by Aamer Zakir, the fashion stylist at club Masaya in New Delhi's Greater Kailash-1 area.
Tanmmay a pass out of London School of Economics holds the experience of a youth congress office bearer in New Delhi.
The event was attended by quite a few good names of the industry that came to extend their support to this dynamic young designer who makes a flashy entry in the industry.
Sachdeva said: "My creation is inspired by youth power and targets all the beautiful women of my country of whatever age she be. My collection takes inspiration from young beauty and I look forward to giving a modern drape with use of fresh colours and designs through my brand."
Tanmmay specializes in evening gowns and kaftans at the moment, but is very soon all set to launch his Indian wear collection with modern cuts and prints.

Tanmmay is all set to showcase his modern, youthful and vibrant designs for today's woman on the 31st of August at "India Runway Week"
He also said that his e-commerce website would be the first of its kind wesite in India, as it deals in selling high end couture wear online.
He said: "I aim at providing fashion in a really easy and hassle free manner, which is why I decided to go for the online technique so that women who have no time to visit a showroom, can easily order their kind of gowns which we get fitted according to the size and delivered at her door steps".
There are many ready to wear online store in India right now but his website concept is new to the country where a couture wear can be booked and customized online.
The preview party on August 28 saw the who's who of the fashion industry in attendance.
Designers like Bharat and Reshma, Dolly j, Raakesh Agarwal, people from politics, actors, stylists and Page 3 regulars like Sylvie, Naseer Abdullah, Rajdeep Ranawat, Bharat Mehra etc. were all present to extend support to the emerging designer.
With focus on the international market, the designer does not ignore the potential of the Indian market and plans for a quick expansion in his clothes line as well as in the online trading sector.
