Both houses of Parliament saw protests and brief adjournments, as opposition parties raised the issue of financial irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on the floor of the Houses.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Bill 2015 was introduced in Lok Sabha. Previously, the Bankruptcy Law Reforms Committee submitted its report and the draft Insolvency and Bankruptcy Bill 2015 on November 4. The draft Bill covered insolvency of individuals, partnerships and companies. It will not be applicable to financial firms such as banks.

The Lok Sabha, meanwhile, cleared the National Waterways Bill, which identifies additional 101 waterways as national waterways. The Schedule of the Bill also specifies the extent of development to be undertaken on each waterway.

The Rajya Sabha, however, passed the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill. The Bill amends certain existing categories of offences, and adds new offences against SCs and STs, and tries to establish exclusive special courts to try offences under the Act. The Bill was passed unanimously by the Upper House without any discussion.

The Upper House also returned to Lok Sabha the two appropriation bills passing the supplementary demands for grants.
