Even after U.S. President Donald Trump's assertion of bringing back manufacturing jobs to the United States, production of the former's daughter Ivanka Trump's shoes has not stopped in China.
A video tweeted out by Global Times purportedly shows a factory in Dongguan in South China's Guangdong province, manufacturing Ivanka's shoes that will be sold in the U.S.
After Trump's announcement, the manufacturing came under a lot of scrutiny and the factory mentioned above felt the intense pressure of making shoes for Ivanka.
As per reports, several workers, including a Public Relations (PR) manager, were fired due to a foreign photographer taking photographs without permission.
However, the factory seems to be unaffected by the announcement and continues to manufacture, aiming to meet their order deadline.
The video states that the orders for Ivanka's shoes have remain unaffected so far.
