Double-time Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso said that he is looking forward to attain success with the newly joined McLaren-Honda team.
The Spaniard made a departure from Ferrari after committing five years of his career to the team. Alonso stated that he was there to win in a long-term relationship, adding that he was committed to working together, the BBC reported.
According to Alonso, things were getting better and moving forward as new people and philosophy had been associated with the team.
Commenting on the Honda's commitment to formula one, he said that the professionalism and determination in the team was outstanding.
Earlier, McLaren chairman Ron Dennis said that Alonso had a signed a three-year contract with no provision to leave the team before the end of its term.
