Pakistan limited-overs captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that he is determined that his side would once again rule the world by winning the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Pakistan last won cricket's biggest prize in the one-day game 24 years ago, also in Australia, Sport24 reported.

Pakistan has never beaten India in any major ICC event and would be up against its archrivals in the opening match at Adelaide on February 15 before taking on the West Indies, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Ireland in its remaining Pool B matches.

The World Cup trophy arrived in Lahore late on Tuesday on its 10th stopover across the globe and will next travel to South Africa before arriving in host countries Australia and New Zealand in November, the report added.
