Everton substitute Gerard Deulofeu scored a late equaliser as the Toffees left the Emirates with a point against Premier League table-topping Arsenal, with the score of 1-1, according to reports.

According to the Mirror, a frantic finish saw Mesut Ozil fire home from Theo Walcott's headed cross, before the Toffees' on-loan Spaniard scored a superb goal from a tight angle with just four minutes left on the clock.

Everton began the game by far the strongest, dominating possession and completing almost twice as many passes than their hosts in the first half, as Ross Barkely in particular caught the eye in the centre of midfield, the report said.

However, in the final five minutes of the first half the hosts awoke and Toffees 'keeper Tim Howard had to make two superb saves to ensure the teams went in level at the break, the report added.
