A United States Congressional delegation visited Tibet's spiritual leader the Dalai Lama at his headquarters in Dharamsala on Tuesday.
The delegation was headed by minority leader Nancy Pelosi, the VoA news reports.
The bi-partisan group is also scheduled to meet leaders of the Exile Tibetan Administration and other civic leaders from the Tibetan community.
Other members in the bipartisan delegation are: Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA), Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), Ranking Member, Foreign Affairs Committee; Energy and Commerce Committee - Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN), Appropriations Committee, - Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA), Ways and Means Committee; Small Business Committee - Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH), Financial Services Committee, - Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Vice Ranking Member, Budget Committee; Judiciary Committee.
