Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday targeted the Opposition's questioning the 'Digital India' campaign during the launch of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) card here.

"Time and again PM Modi's 'Digital India' has been questioned by the family that had ruled the country through generations. Today I would like to say them, if my taxi driving friend can refill CNG in his car within 30 seconds with the help of smart card, this is called 'Digital India'," he said at the event.

Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) card is a prepaid card for CNG customers that will enable its customers to refuel, without carrying cash.

"By the end of this year, the Central government, along with IGL and many other associations, will run a campaign that there will be PNG throughout Delhi and the houses where there is no LPG there should be LPG," said Pradhan.
