Under-fire Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has reportedly hinted that he is considering to quit the show, insisting that he is a dinosaur that nature made a mistake in inventing.
The controversial host was suspended on Wednesday after what was described as a fracas with BBC producer, Oisin Tymon and it was reported that the drama unfolded when Clarkson arrived at the crew's hotel and requested some hot food.
Clarkson revealed that nature made a mistake when it invented the dinosaur, insisting that it was too big, too violent. He added that all the dinosaurs died and now, years later, no one mourns their passing, adding that these big, imposing creatures have no place in a world which has moved on, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Clarkson claimed that the time had to come when one waves goodbye to the big monsters, hinting at him leaving the show. Referring to the on set quarrel, Clarkson said that he doesn't intend to dwell there on what happened then or what would happen in the future, adding that he is sure his readers would be as fed up with the story as he is.
He also seemed to make a joke about the BBC suspension, saying one news report that he'd been spotted riding on a bus was wildly inaccurate. The BBC decided to pull last week's episode of Top Gear, presumably because some of its links, which would feature Clarkson and co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May, had not yet been filmed.
It has now been suggested that the BBC may abandon all three remaining episodes of the show's current, 22nd, season, the report added.
