The National Disaster Management authority recently organized a school children sensitization workshop in Agartala.
The workshop stressed on issues of preparedness, response mechanism, awareness programmes, fire and emergency services, power lines and capacity development initiatives.
Students from various schools beside nursing and paramedics institutes participated in the sensitization programme on the importance of integrating disaster management.
Manipuri terminology workshop organized in Imphal
Imphal, Sep. 27 (ANI): The Directorate of Language Planning and Implementation, Government of Manipur, recently started a 10 day long Manipuri Terminology building workshop at the department's conference hall.
The primary objective of the workshop is to prepare standard and uniform Manipuri terminology in order to facilitate early production of Manipuri text and reference books for all the subjects taught upto the graduation level.
This is the 3rd phase of the workshop where 4 experts in each subject from different colleges and universities across the state took part.
