The civil rights leaders have stated that the 'Django Unchained' actress, Daniele Watts, owes an apology to Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Earl Ofari Hutchinson, president of Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable, said that he, who was very "outspoken about Watts' facebook post "It's like crying wolf," believes there was "provable cause for the detention" as the photos taken showed Watts straddling lover Brian James Lucas in a car.
The civil rights leaders initially defended Watts, who posted on her Facebook page on September 11 that she was handcuffed by police for "showing affection, fully clothed, in a public place," thinking it to be a "racial profiling" case.
