The annual repair/maintenance of the Upper Ganga Canal has been completed and Bhagirathi and Sonia Vihar Plants of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) have resumed lifting raw water from the Upper Ganga Canal.
Both water treatment plants are expected to function at their optimum capacity, as the raw water will be available as required.
During the entire period of Annual repair/ maintenance of the Upper Ganga Canal, DJB maintained normal water supply to the areas, served by the two plants.
Delhi Jal Board, therefore, does not foresee any disruption in the water supply and the water supply will remain normal.
