Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Treasurer M. K. Stalin on Friday demanded probe on former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa's death.
He also demanded a sitting high court judge to probe the issue.
On Thursday, the Madras High Court also raised doubts over Jayalalithaa' demise and said that the truth must come out.
"Media has raised a lot of doubts, personally I also have doubts in Jayalalithaa's death," said Justice Vaidyalingam, who was hearing a petition demanding an inquiry into the former AIADMK chief's death.
Justice Vaidyalingam said, "When Jayalalithaa was admitted in the hospital, it was said that she was on proper diet. At least after her death now, truth should be revealed."
Earlier, DMK suspended MP Sasikala Pushpa also filed a petition in the Supreme Court, demanding a probe into the death of Jayalalithaa, saying that a proper inquiry should be done as the people of the state want to know the actual reason behind the death of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister.
This comes days after Jayalalithaa's demise following a cardiac arrest on December 5.
