Borussia Dortmund ended Arsenal's run of success since August with a 2-1 win in their Champions League Group F clash on Tuesday in the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal, Napoli and Dortmund are all locked on six points and the feel-good factor at the Emirates suddenly went a bit flat after the Germans snatched a cruel but sweet victory.

According to the Mirror, although Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud cancelled out Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan's first-half opener with a goal in the 41st minute, a late goal by Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski split open Arsenal's 'Group of Death' and ruined Arsene Wenger's 64th birthday as the Germans swept away the match.

Meanwhile, the report mentioned that Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was banished to the directors' box while serving a touchline ban, jumping up and down and punching in the air as he celebrated in the posh seats.
