Actress-politician Hema Malini played Holi outside Parliament on Wednesday.
Congress MP Jagdambika Pal and other lawmakers also joined her.
"Holi is a very nice festival and everyone should celebrate it very well," she said.
Malini, who is the BJP MP from Mathura, had earlier in the day extended greetings to all on the occasion of Holi.
"Holi Greetings to you all! Kaise chal rahe hai aap ke thayyarriyan? Colours sab ready? Aur pichchkari?" she tweeted.
Holi is the most awaited festival among the Hindus. The festival is celebrated with much gusto across India, especially in Mathura and Vrindavan, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
This year Holi will be celebrated on March 6.
