Dropbox recently unveiled Carousel, an iOS and Android app that lets users organize and share photos and videos.
The app that was reportedly released at an event in San Francisco, allows users to view and organize all their images that have been shared online or backed up using Dropbox without having to store them locally on their device.
According to Mashable, one of Carousel's most useful features appears before the user even signs in: the ability to automatically back up your device's camera roll and once it is enabled; all the photos will automatically be synced to Dropbox when connected to Wi-Fi.
While users can view their photos in a chronological order, with the most recent appearing first, at the bottom of the app is a scrollable timeline that lets them sort out pictures on basis of years or months, the report added.
