A Colorado man was recently arrested for allegedly riding a horse while intoxicated, with a dog and black powder pistol in his rucksack.
The man in question, Patrick Neal Schumacher was supposedly planning to ride to his brother's wedding 600 miles away, the Mirror reported.
Witnesses observed that Schumacher, 45, who was taken into custody near the University of Colorado, was wandering into traffic on his horse Dillon, while going up a busy road.
While justifying the act, Schumacher told the cops that he was trying to get from Larkspur, Colorado, to Bryce, Utah, for the wedding but had lost his driving license.
He was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and the prohibited use of weapons.
