Kate Middleton's phone was hacked 155 times, on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2005, it has been revealed.

The News of the World's former royal editor Clive Goodman first hacked the Duchess' voicemail in December 2005 and also hacked Prince William's phone 35 times and Prince Harry's on nine occasions, the BBC reported.

Earlier, Goodman, who is of seven defendants, including former News of the World editors Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks, had earlier said that he only hacked aides and denies conspiring to commit misconduct in public office.

It has also been revealed that he hacked her phone on 7 August 2006, the day before he was arrested over allegations of phone hacking and has also denied that he had "forgotten" about targeting the young royals.
