The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, on Saturday delivered a healthy baby girl, who is fourth in line to the British royal throne.
The princess, who weighed 3.7kg, was safely delivered at 8:34 am BST, reported the BBC.
Prince William was reportedly present for the birth of his daughter.
Both the Duchess and her daughter are doing well. The baby's name will be announced in due course.
